My Last GREAT grandma!

Image
May 2015 ended with a funeral of my great grandmother and she is the last great grand generation that I have ever seen. Mummy reminded us how fortunately of us when we can see our great grandparents. Seeing how uncontrollably sad my popo, mummy and yiyi, it indirectly influenced me and mei mei in terms of emotions. We joined in the days and days of praying and reciting and learned a great deal of customs and spiritual beliefs. It is also through this funeral that I learned a great deal of my fun lots of cousins whom we seldom played with!   There are also lots of people whom we need to call 阿 yi, uncles and this po and that po..... Errrr...... we are so confused!     Maybe they should come up with a family tree chart or we can meet up more often so that it becomes so easy for kids like us.... hahaha..... anyway, cousins are fun!

It's Sea Games and also the 1st soccer match that me and mei mei ever watched! It was so HOT but we certainly had lots of fun! To my delight, Singapore won! It's Singapore vs Cambodia! The Singapore cheering team onsite certainly added a lot more joy and excitement to our very 1st time!   Cheers!

My Birthday

Daddy asked me what I would like to do during my birthday. I gave a very  serious thought to it and finally I know what I want. OUT TO THE SEA FOR FISHING! I would like to venture out to the big, blue sea to try my birthday luck and see if I can catch a BIG fish! Thankfully this is a favourite hobby of my daddy and so he is able to grant me my wish easily!   I am so proud to say that I did not get any seasick but I am sad to say that I did not get any BIG fishes, only small fishes... :-(   My poor mummy did not get to celebrate my birthday with me since I am out in the sea. But I still have 2 other informal birthday celebration with my extended families, Chiokies and Lees.     Oh... that's my extended extended cousin John! haha.... so nice to see him that day! Happy Birthday to myself!
