My Last GREAT grandma!

May 2015 ended with a funeral of my great grandmother and she is the last great grand generation that I have ever seen. Mummy reminded us how fortunately of us when we can see our great grandparents. Seeing how uncontrollably sad my popo, mummy and yiyi, it indirectly influenced me and mei mei in terms of emotions. We joined in the days and days of praying and reciting and learned a great deal of customs and spiritual beliefs.

It is also through this funeral that I learned a great deal of my fun lots of cousins whom we seldom played with!
 
There are also lots of people whom we need to call 阿 yi, uncles and this po and that po..... Errrr...... we are so confused!
 
 
Maybe they should come up with a family tree chart or we can meet up more often so that it becomes so easy for kids like us.... hahaha..... anyway, cousins are fun!

Mummy's SD card is spoilt so she got no camera to take pictures of me. Luckily there are so many kiasu aunties around to take pictures of the big day! Perhaps it is such a joyful occassion and i can hear everyone laughing away so i quickly picked up how to "hahaha" in front of the camera! Mummy really likes Auntie Lilin for taking such a "slim" photo of her! Everyone including myself had such a FUN but TIRING day. It is afterall once in a lifetime thing and everything is so worth it! Mayyi Auntie's Da Sao is opening a new stall selling their speciality - Thai Food soon and invites us for food tasting. I din help much but Daddy did. He is the master designer behind the food decoration. Uncle Goulin and Auntie Lilian are there too. Uncle Goulin helped to take pictures of the food for their stall and how can he bear not to take adorable pictures of me too! See how professional his skills are!

Passing of Singapore "Papa"

Mummy had been trying to educate us in various ways about this great man. The radio and TV had also been showing all the great things that Mr LKY has done. Both Mei Mei and myself are so impressed by his doings for Singapore.  This also set as a turning point for me to desire to become a Prime Minister instead of a Doctor/Dentist (My aspiration always changed).  A balloon sculpture done by our neighbourhood committee event to commemorate Mr LKY.     A few weeks after his state funeral, Mummy had a conversation with my younger sister....   Mummy: Do you know who is Lee Hsien Yang..... KX: Yes! He is the next Prime Minister......son of Mr LKY and brother of Lee Hsien Loong Mummy: -_-"
