My 1st Try on Tulang!

Let me intro my Daddy to you - He is a fussy eater but can really eats alot. Yesterday, his dinner is Tulang, cockles and some "wu xiang".... no rice at all... of cos and his favourite beer!


Because of him, i get to eat alot of different kind of food too! Last night is my first try on one of the famous Malay dish which my Mummy refused to try for years - TULANG!

Daddy even taught me how to use a straw to eat it!

Can you tell from my expression if I really enjoyed the Tulang??? Even Mummy is clueless!



After that, I did request Mummy to give me drink some water though... Haha... And I also know that I must wipe my mouth or else the mouth will be stained!

Mummy's SD card is spoilt so she got no camera to take pictures of me. Luckily there are so many kiasu aunties around to take pictures of the big day! Mayyi Auntie's Da Sao is opening a new stall selling their speciality - Thai Food soon and invites us for food tasting. I din help much but Daddy did. He is the master designer behind the food decoration. Uncle Goulin and Auntie Lilian are there too. Passing of Singapore "Papa"

Mummy had been trying to educate us in various ways about this great man. The radio and TV had also been showing all the great things that Mr LKY has done. Both Mei Mei and myself are so impressed by his doings for Singapore.  This also set as a turning point for me to desire to become a Prime Minister instead of a Doctor/Dentist (My aspiration always changed).  A balloon sculpture done by our neighbourhood committee event to commemorate Mr LKY.     A few weeks after his state funeral, Mummy had a conversation with my younger sister....   Mummy: Do you know who is Lee Hsien Yang..... KX: Yes! He is the next Prime Minister......son of Mr LKY and brother of Lee Hsien Loong Mummy: -_-"
